Privacy Policy

Quick answer

Planner scenarios stay in browser memory, versioned localStorage, user-downloaded JSON, or an explicitly created URL fragment; the site does not upload material names, rates, labels, or scenario payloads.

Local Processing

Sandustry Guide does not collect, transmit, or store your private factory scenarios, material labels, machine rates, or calculation inputs on any remote server. All balancing operations are performed entirely within your browser's JavaScript runtime.

Local Storage Usage

When you use the Material Balance Planner, scenarios are saved to your browser's localStorage (sandustry:material-balance:v1). This data remains solely on your local device and can be exported as JSON or cleared at any time.

URL Sharing Privacy

The planner offers optional scenario sharing via URL fragments (#mbp=...). Because fragments are evaluated strictly on the client side, your shared scenario data is never sent in HTTP request headers or logged by web servers. Anyone whom you provide the link to will be able to decode the scenario data.

Telemetry Boundaries

The production site uses a dedicated Google Analytics 4 data stream for cookieless page views and the sanitized Planner events listed in this policy. Analytics and advertising storage are denied by default, Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled, and GA4 Enhanced Measurement is disabled. Requests contain the canonical page path without query parameters or URL fragments. No user-entered scenario names, material or machine labels, rates, capacities, counts, imported files, or share payloads are included in analytics events.
